About Welsh Masters Athletics

Set up in 1983 Welsh Masters Athletics has been providing and supporting Welsh Masters Athletes creating a fun and inclusive environment, whist providing access to top class competition worldwide if wanted.

We welcome all individuals age 35 and over and all abilities, those new to athletics, those who used to be athletes and want to get started and those who are experienced and have now reached an age where they can now compete in masters athletics and want to take the plunge.

 

We encourage and develop Welsh Masters athletics across Wales. We also organise athletic events across Wales, including Track and Field, Cross country, Road Races and Relay events our latest events can be found here

 

We have our own Championship events, for which we award medals, and as a member you are entitled to take part.  We also have a Facebook page to help you keep up with events.  Why not like our Facebook page so you can keep up to date with that is happening and see our regular news articles.

When you join us, your membership also entitles you to take part in events organized like the British Masters Championships. The British Masters website also displays International and Regional fixtures that you can take part in. 

Many of our members regularly officiate at our events, as well as those organized by their clubs and Welsh Athletics. If you are not qualified and would like to be then go to our Officials page to see the links to Welsh Athletics Officials development pathway and other routes to qualification.
