Teams: Entry is FREE to UKA affiliated clubs for as many UKA-registered masters athletes as they wish. They will be grouped automatically into multiple teams in 10-year age bands (down-aging allowed), based on their ages as of 24th February: M35-44, M45-54, M55-64, M65-74, M75+, W35-44, W45-54, W55-64, W65-74; W75 with 3 in each team. Individual entries also welcome from anyone. Entries close on 27th Feb.

Course: Performances on routes where the TOTAL drop in elevation exceeds 10m are not eligible for ranking.

Submitting Results: Athletes must record their performances using GPS devices and submit evidence with their result submission (via Strava or Garmin Connect). Anyone not physically able to do this should contact us. For more details refer to the OpenTrack documentation here. If this is not possible, then ask someone to witness your “race” and send an email to confirm your time. The team results exclude performances of anyone or did not comply with the rules for the course.

Awards: Certificates to each member of the first three teams in each age group based on sum of times, to the fastest three athletes in each age group and to those with the three best age-graded performances by men and women.

There will be separate rankings for runners and teams from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland if there are sufficient entries.

Celebrating the success of the Event: Please send any stories of what this event has meant to you, together with any photos you may have, to news@bmaf.org.uk or to the BMAF facebook group.
