ENCOURAGE THE NEXT GENERATION OF ATHLETES!
John Elward, the West Wales Officials Secretary and our premier Starter, has asked us to circulate our members for volunteers to help at the Welsh Junior League meetings.
Welsh Junior League events are for under 11s, under 13s, and under 15s, track and field and have qualified officials. However, qualified officials are very thin on the ground as we know. To have some knowledgeable athletes as volunteer officials would be superb, particularly as they could also encourage the various parents to join a club and start running/jumping/throwing themselves! There is no time conflict with any Senior or Masters events as these are:
Saturday May 28 Neath
Sunday July 27 Swansea
Sunday August 21 tbc
Sunday September 11 Carmarthen
