Welsh Masters Athletics launches new style kit and appeal for runners for the Inter-Area challenge.

The Inter-area is at Corby on Saturday 7th September, with the timetable and rules attached, and there is also a new style of kit coming!
The women’s team has already had a selection process but there are gaps so any members who are interested, please contact Eleri on eleri9uk@yahoo.com or Louise on louisekirby901@gmail.com
Selection for the men’s team is starting now with any interested members to contact Brett on brett.davis1@sky.com with their name, age group, event(s) of interest and any form they feel is relevant. Expenses will be available relating to travel with more details once the basic team has been selected.
Power of 10 performances this year will be the main measure used, along with any other information that is available or supplied. A provisional men’s team will be announced in the near future, and this will be finalised on/around 26th August, but individual slots will be confirmed as soon as they are decided.
The new kit consists of an order spread across men’s and women’s vests, crop tops, short sleeved and long-sleeved t-shirts of different sizes. The range of sizes from which the order was selected can be viewed on the fastraxrunning.com website.
This initial order is designed to try and cover demand related to the interarea at which it will be distributed firstly to those who have pre-requested/paid and then to those who pay cash at the interarea.
After that requests from anybody else who is on the waiting list will be processed, including a postage and packing payment. After that it will be a case of business as usual for any new requests whilst adding any requests that we do not have the stock for to build up a second order. Prices for this superior kit will be £20 per vest or crop top, £22 per short sleeved T shirt and £24 per long sleeved T shirt.
The size of this initial order has had to be finely judged as even a relatively small number of vests per size have added up to a large cost.
The existing kit will still be valid and remaining stock will be sold off at £5 a vest or t-shirt at the inter-area and at selected future events.

One competitor per event in all age groups as shown on timetable
3. Bibs will be available to pick up on the day. Each team will have their own set of numbers for each individual athlete.
4. 4 trials in throws and horizontal jumps
5. In high jump and pole vault athletes start at opening height, or higher if they wish,

6. Athletes may move down age groups but must remain in the same age group for all events, except relays.
7. Athletes should report for all events when called by the announcer, at least 15 minutes before start time to the area of their events.
8. Area club vests must be worn in all events
9. No guest athletes will be allowed to compete
10. Scoring for all events 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
